December 21, 2016

On December 20, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of pesticide petitions to establish MRLs on several active ingredients.

Comments must be received by January 19, 2017. MRLs from this proposal will display in the Global MRL Database on December 22, 2016.

December 1, 2016

On December 1, the U.S. EPA established tolerances for residues of quizalofop ethyl and quizalofop-P-ethyl in or on rice grain and fish-shellfish, crustacean.

Objections and requests for hearings must be received by January 30, 2017. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on December 2, 2016.

May 19, 2015

On May 19, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) notified the WTO of proposed MRL changes for the following active ingredients:

Comments on updated MRLs are due by July 18, 2015, and relevant proposed changes will be added to Global MRL Database.

July 23, 2013

Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently established several MRLs.

On July 15, PMRA established the boscalid MRLs first proposed on April 17, 2013, under document PMRL2013-19.

On July 15, PMRA established the quizalofop-ethyl MRLs first proposed on April 17, 2013, under document PMRL2013-20.

On July 15, PMRA established the pyriproxyfen MRLs first proposed on April 17, 2013, under document PMRL2013-21.

Relevant changes will appear in tomorrow.

June 4, 2013

June 5, 2013, the European Union's MRL amendment Commission Regulation (EU) No 500/2013 entered into force.  This regulation raises MRLs for the following active ingredients: acetamiprid, Adoxophyes orana granulovirus strain BV-0001, azoxystrobin, clothianidin, fenpyrazamine, heptamaloxyloglucan, metrafenone, Paecilomyces lilacinus strain 251, propiconazole, quizalofop-P, spiromesifen, tebuconazole, thiamethoxam and zucchini yellow mosaik virus - weak strain.

Relevant changes will made to in the next week.
