January 9, 2017

On January 9, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for sulfuryl fluoride, tolfenpyrad, and zoxamide in or on various products.

Individual changes may be viewed in the linked WTO notices. The amended MRLs will be available in the Global MRL Database on January 10, 2017.

October 4, 2016

On September 30, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) proposed MRLs for the active ingredient sulfuryl fluoride.

PMRA will accept comments on the proposed MRL through December 14, 2016. The proposed MRL is currently available in the Global MRL Database

October 13, 2015

On October 13, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a technical report on the consultation with Member States, the applicant, and EFSA on the pesticide risk assessment for sulfuryl fluoride in light of confirmatory data.

June 25, 2014

Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) recently established and revised tolerances for pyraclostrobin, sulfuryl fluoride, and carbofuran. Changes can be found in Korea's MRL database (link in Korean).

Relevant changes will appear in tomorrow.

September 6, 2013

On September 2, Thailand's Ministry of Public Health notified international trading partners of draft revisions to the List No. 1 Maximum Residue Limit (MRL) annex to the Ministry of Public Health Notification, Title: Food Containing Pesticide Residues. The proposal includes MRL changes for hydrogen phosphide, methyl bromide, bromide ion, and sulfuryl fluoride.

The final date for comments on these changes is November 1, 2013.
