On July 2, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published a draft amendment proposing extensive changes to their veterinary drug regulation (link in Portuguese).

Comments on this proposal are due by September 2, 2019. Relevant proposed MRLs will be added to the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database in the coming weeks.

Recently, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing monograph changes for prohexadione-calcium, quizalofop-P-ethyl, teflubenzuron, flupyradifurone, and alpha-cypermethrin (links in Portuguese).

Comments on prohexadione-calcium must be received by August 19, 2019. Comments on quizalofop-P-ethyl, teflubenzuron, flupyradifurone, and alpha-cypermethrin must be received by August 26, 2019. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on June 27, 2019.

On May 22, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published draft amendments proposing monograph changes for atrazine, mesotrione, laminarin, dinotefuran, fluopyram, bifenthrin, acetamiprid, etofenprox, lambda-cyhalothrin, flutriafol, and pyriproxyfen (links in Portuguese).

Comments on these proposed revisions must be received by July 20, 2019. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on June 7, 2019.

On May 28, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published amendments for florpyrauxifen-benzyl, Heterorhabditis bacteriophora, metiram, methoxyfenozide, metominostrobin, etofenprox, spinetoram, fenpropimorph, fluroxypyr-meptyl, famoxadone, azoxystrobin, cymoxanil, chlorfenapyr, Cordyceps fumosorosea, difenoconazole, Purpureocillium lilacinumReynoutria sachalinensis, and tebuconazole.

Updated MRLs for metiram, methoxyfenozide, metominostrobin, etofenprox, spinetoram, fenpropimorph, fluroxypyr-meptyl, famoxadone, azoxystrobin, cymoxanil, chlorfenapyr, difenoconazole, Reynoutria sachalinensis, and tebuconazole will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on June 4, 2019. Amendments for florpyrauxifen-benzyl, Heterorhabditis bacteriophoraCordyceps fumosorosea, and Purpureocillium lilacinum will be made after their respective monographs have been posted.
