On July 29, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published reasoned opinions on the modification and review of the existing MRLs for acrinathrin and 6-benzyladenine.

Recently, the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service published Food and Agricultural Regulations and Standards (FAIRS) reports for Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica

On July 30, the U.S. EPA announced the receipt of a pesticide petition to revoke all tolerances for residues of the neonicotinoid pesticides acetamiprid, clothianidin, dinotefuran, imidacloprid, and thiamethoxam.

Comments must be received by August 31, 2020. The proposed revocations will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on July 31, 2020.

On July 28, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) published Amendment No. 193, varying Australia's Schedule 20 to include MRLs from Proposal M1017 – Maximum Residue Limits (2019).

On July 30, the European Union published corrigendum to Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/1085 changing the date of application for amended chlorpyrifos and chlorpyrifos-methyl MRLs to November 13, 2020.
