Recently, the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service published Food and Agricultural Regulations and Standards (FAIRS) reports for Thailand and Serbia.

The BCGlobal Food Additive Database includes maximum use level regulations for over 850 additives in more than 70 countries worldwide, including Thailand. Please contact BCI for more information on subscribing.

The BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database currently display relevant established and proposed MRLs for Thailand.

On November 2, Thailand's Ministry of Public Health published an amendment in the Royal Gazette revoking chlorpyrifos and paraquat MRLs (in Thai).

Pending MRL revocations with an effective date of June 1, 2021 will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database November 4, 2020.

Recently, Thailand's Ministry of Health published Notification of the Ministry of Public Health No. 418 B.E. 2563 Re: Prescribing the Principle, Conditions, Methods and Proportion of Food Additives (No. 2), a new regulation on food additives.

On May 20, Thailand's Food and Drug Administration notified the WTO of a proposal to delete the MRLs for chlorpyrifos and paraquat as regulated under Notification of the Ministry of Public Health, No. 387 (B.E. 2560) (2017) Re: Food Containing Pesticide Residues.

Comments are due within 30 days. Proposed MRL revocations will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on May 21, 2020.
