July 22, 2021

This week, the European Union posted a summary opinion proposing MRLs for bambermycin in poultry. 

Proposed MRLs from this opinion will display in the BCGlobal Vet Drug Database on July 23, 2021.

June 29, 2021

On June 24, Taiwan’s Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) announced an amendment affecting MRLs for coumafos and gamithromycin. 

Relevant amended MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database on June 30, 2021.

June 1, 2021

On May 31, Health Canada updated their List of MRLs for Veterinary Drugs in Foods to include MRLs proposed in Proposed MRL 2020-1

MRL changes from this amendment have been added to the BCGlobal Vet Drug Database and will appear on June 2, 2021.

May 27, 2021

On May 27, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare posted Food Safety Update 0527 No. 1 affecting several active ingredients.

Relevant MRL changes will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and BCGlobal Vet Drug Database in the coming week.

April 19, 2021

On April 16, the European Union published Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/621 establishing MRLs for imidacloprid.

The amended MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal Veterinary Drug MRL Database on April 20, 2021.

April 14, 2021

On April 14, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published an amendment to their vet drug regulations, adding MRLs for fluralaner.

Relevant MRLs from this amendment will be added to the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database by April 15, 2021. The MRLs are effective May 3, 2021.

April 5, 2021

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) recently announced proposed MRL changes for several active ingredients. These changes were reported via the United States Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service.

Relevant Proposed MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and BCGlobal Vet Drug Database by April 7, 2021.

March 25, 2021

On March 25, Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) published Notice No. 2021-26 (link in Korean) revising their food regulations, including numerous pesticide and veterinary drug MRL changes. Most MRL changes from this amendment are effective March 25, 2021. MRLs for pesticide residues in animal products will be effective July 1, 2021.

MRL changes from this amendment will appear in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database and BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database in the coming weeks.

March 22, 2021

On March 19, the European Medicines Agency published a summary opinion proposing MRLs for bambermycin in poultry.

Relevant proposed MRLs will appear in the BCGlobal Vet Drug Database March 23, 2021.

March 5, 2021

On March 1, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published a correction to their national veterinary drug regulation.

Corrected information will display in the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database on March 6, 2021.
