March 11, 2020

On March 4, China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs opened a public consultation (in Chinese) on draft MRLs for zeranol, trenbolone acetate, and melengestrol acetate in or on cattle muscle.

Comments were due by March 6, 2020. Relevant proposed MRLs will display in the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database on March 12, 2020.

February 10, 2020

On February 8, the Chilean Ministry of Health's updated veterinary drug regulation came into effect. It replaces the previous consolidation of the regulation from 2016.

Chile's updated veterinary drug regulation currently displays in the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database.

October 9, 2019

On October 7, the U.S. FDA established a tolerance for residues of hetacillin in cattle. 

The new MRL will be available in the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database next week. 

September 27, 2019

On September 27, Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) posted Notice 2019-450 (in Korean) proposing revisions to their food regulations, including MRL changes.

Relevant proposed MRLs will appear in the BCGlobal Databases in the coming weeks.

August 29, 2019

On August 29, Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare notified the WTO of newly established veterinary drug MRLs for fluralaner. 

The established MRLs will display in the BCGloabl Veterinary Drug MRL Database on August 30, 2019.

July 19, 2019

On July 13, Turkey's Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Livestock published an amendment to its veterinary drug MRL standard.

Relevant changes will be available in the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database by July 23, 2019.

July 17, 2019

On July 11, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published the following trade advice notices containing proposed MRLs:

The proposed MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal MRL Databases on July 18, 2019.
July 15, 2019

On July 11, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) published a final rule updating and standardizing the U.S. veterinary drug MRL regulation.

This amendment is effective September 9, 2019. Relevant changes will be added to the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database in the coming months.

July 8, 2019

On July 3, Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) published Notice No. 2019-57 (link in Korean) revising their food regulations, including several pesticide MRL changes.

MRL changes from this amendment will be entered in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database by July 11, 2019.

July 8, 2019

On July 2, Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) published a draft amendment proposing extensive changes to their veterinary drug regulation (link in Portuguese).

Comments on this proposal are due by September 2, 2019. Relevant proposed MRLs will be added to the BCGlobal Vet Drug MRL Database in the coming weeks.
