Canada Amends Enzyme Regulations
On January 19, Health Canada published an amendment regarding the use of alpha-amylase (maltogenic). The amendment modifies the List of Permitted Enzymes.
The BCGlobal Food Additive Database, which includes Canada's food additive regulations, has been updated to reflect all relevant changes, though enzymes typically fall outside of the scope of the database. If you are interested in subscribing, please contact BCI for more information.
