Canada Amends Food Additive Regulations
On July 22, Health Canada published amendments regarding steviol glycosides and the use of additives in plant protein isolate products. These amendments amend the List of Permitted Sweeteners, the List of Permitted Emulsifying, Gelling, Stabilizing, or Thickening Agent, the List of Permitted Preservatives, and the List of Permitted Food Enzymes.
