On May 16, Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) published the following Proposal M1016 – Maximum Residue Limits (2018) documents:

The Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation (the Forum) has been notified of FSANZ's decision and, if the Forum does not issue a request for review, the MRLs will go into effect upon gazettal. Relevant proposed MRLs are available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database.

On May 13, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) notified the WTO of adopted MRLs for penflufen, aviglycine, difenoconazole, and penthiopyrad.

Individual changes can be viewed in the linked WTO notices. The amended MRLs will be available in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on May 16, 2019.

On May 6, the U.S. EPA announced its receipt of a pesticide petition to modify the tolerance for glyphosate in oats.

Comments must be received by June 5, 2019. The MRL from this proposal will display in the BCGlobal Pesticide MRL Database on May 11, 2019.

On May 10, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) published a reasoned opinion on the modification of the existing MRL for fludioxonil in Florence fennels and a statement on the proposed temporary MRL for chlormequat in oyster mushrooms.
