On October 19, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare posted Food Safety Update 1019 No. 1 affecting several active ingredients.

On October 20, the U.S. FDA published a final rule amending a veterinary drug MRL for fenbendazole.

On October 13, Health Canada proposed new and amended MRLs for several vet drugs.
