European Union Publishes Food Additive Proposals
Recently, the European Union made available proposals to amend its food additive regulations related to the use of polyols in certain energy-reduced confectionery products and steviol glycosides and rebaudioside M produced via enzyme modification of steviol glycosides from Stevia.
