On September 2, the United States Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Service published a report on Egypt’s newly established National Food Safety Authority (NFSA). The NFSA was established in January 2017. The NFSA will be responsible for the formulation of food safety regulations, as well as the inspection and control of food.
